What to Expect During Your Pet’s Wellness Exam
Your pet’s wellness exam consists of a thorough snout-to-tail examination. One of our vets will also check their weight and temperature, look in their ears, eyes, and snout, and listen to their heart and lungs. They’ll also palpate your pet’s abdomen and feel their joints to search for lumps, pain, and other problems.
An annual pet wellness exam is also a perfect time to discuss things like vaccinations, microchipping, parasite treatment and prevention, and having your pet spayed or neutered. Our vet will make recommendations based on your pet’s unique needs and lifestyle factors and take the time to answer any questions you might have. We encourage you to bring up any concerns regarding your pet’s diet, behavior, care, etc. We’re here to help you give your furry friend the best life possible!
Sick Pet Visits
In addition to annual pet wellness exams, we provide care for sick pets. If your pet is showing signs of illness, such as vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, or changes in behavior, we encourage you to bring them in for a sick pet visit. Our veterinarians will perform a comprehensive examination to diagnose the problem and recommend an appropriate treatment plan. Prompt attention to your pet’s health concerns can prevent minor issues from becoming major problems. We also provide pet urgent and emergency care for cats and dogs.
